The History

Karkathar saiva Pillai Community with over 4 lakhs population today is indeed making news in every sphere around the world. From the small pockets Mayavaram and Tirunelveli belts, today karkathar's have spread their wings around the globe and making strides in their own fashion. But their true allegiance to their forefathers lands and community has never shifted places. Being a truly global karkathar, he/she still tries to connect back home. This website is an effort from the 25 years young Trichy karkathar sangam to enable connecting members of our community.

In its effort to bring our community members together, Mangala Sandippu (a meet for parents of prospective Brides/Grooms) is being conducted regularly by the sangam. It is a Proud fact that Trichy Karkathar Sangam has successfully hosted 12 such meetings in the last 10 years. In fact, in every meet a booklet with bio-data of the prospective brides/grooms has been circulated within the entire community members which received much accolades and appreciations.

This website, has been the feedback provideed by the today's net savvy globletotter for enabling the reach of the Mangala sandippu to all over the world in the form of a matrimonial website. We hope this humble begining today will go a long way in helping our community members.
